ok,
so first blog.
I suppose this is where i should tell a little about myself so you as readers can decide whether or not i’m worth listening to. My initial thoughts indicate that no one will read this and i will subsequently stop blogging and become disheartened.
I don’t know how this thing works very well yet, so i guess all the fancy pictures and gadgets will come with time and experience, as most things tend to do.
So first things first. I am an 18 year old female currently with nothing to do besides becoming addicted to internet sites. I’m in between institutions, having graduated from year 12 at Christian College in Geelong with an ENTER of 95.90 and a first place in group music – both achievements which will not neccessarily mean anything to me in a few months, weeks or even days time. I like the beach, shopping, friends, driving without a purpose and roundabouts, but i dont like heights or snakes. My one goal for this year was to take as many photos of things as i could and i think i’ve achieved that with my trusty 4 megapixel olympus digital camera which is almost permanently connected to my arm by way of a new zealand wrist band attatchment – my reminder that i once ventured to that place.
I am off to the Victorian College of the Arts in 2007 which i am looking forward too greatly and i also have a job teaching primary school kids how to play saxophone, flute and clarinet.
So if you hadn’t realised it by now, i am a muso. I play the saxophone, namely alto but i fell in love with the soprano and wish i didnt have to give “fabio” back to the school in early january. I’m hoping that with a little training i can become a great sax player just like all those people who went before me through the institute that is the VCA and that one day i can make something of this “hobby” of mine as my mum invisaged it to be – little did she know that music isn’t just a hobby, its a way of life.
Being on holidays would be all fine and dandy if getting bored didnt happen. I guess that’s why people have jobs – to fill in the time that would otherwise be wasted – just like the time i spend on the internet with MSN and Myspace and now this which i’m sure will take up a bit of time in my uneventful days.
When creating this account i was mildly amused by the options of languages available to “blog” in – i was almost tempted to choose – UZ – ????? ???? because i was wondering who would be able to read a language made up of purely question marks. This got me thinking about how you would even speak this language as question marks have no vowel sound, they just indicate a rise in the pitch of one’s voice at the end of a statement. I hope you share my amusement and as a way of leaving my mark on society, i chllenge you to communicate using only question marks and then report back to me to let me know how successfull it was.
I’m gunna try something now… bear with me… it could get a little scary… i’m gunna try to put up a picture of my newly – shaven dog. She looks like a rat and i’ve taken to calling her skin-head or rat features rather than her more commonly known name of milly.
there she is – instead of being a maltese x silky, she resembles a chihuahua or poodle or something like that. Either way – i wouldn’t buy her if she looked like this all the time.
Well, this is the end of my first blog – and maybe even last blog of 2006. Farewell to the year that has been and hello to 2007 – the year where Jess hits melbourne!
btw, not really cool to spend sentences and valuable readers time on how good you are i.e. enter score, v.c.a. etc. I much prefer to assume all readers know how awesome i am. Give it a try sometime. mhm, mhm, mhm!
but its fun to pretend to be awesome! if only you knew how i suffer…
